  • Day: 1 Arrive in Delhi

    Namaste. Welcome to your voyage to Incredible India. On Arrival at the state of the art International airport, you will be greeted by your Tour Manager and proceed to the Hotel for check in. You get free time to relax, acclimatize yourself, as you get ready to prepare yourself on this incredible journey in the land of thousand marvels and mysteries.

    After arrival and post customs and immigrations check, enjoy a traditional Indian welcome with garlands and meet your Tour Manager and proceed to your hotel. After check in, proceed for a short briefing on important information regarding; travel documents, the do’s and Don’ts during your tour, to ensure safety and security. Post briefing, you get free time to relax in the comfort of your hotel.

    In the evening, free time at leisure. Stay overnight in the comfort of your hotel. Embark on a city tour of the Capital of the country on the next day.
     
  • Day: 2 Delhi City Tour + Rickshaw Ride

    Get ready to travel back in time by four hundred years. Visit the famous monuments from the Mogul era and see Lutyen’s landmarks from the British colonial period. The day is filled with contradictions, as you sail past and see, “purani dilli” - old and traditional city surviving with the new and modern. Try and see what sense you can make out of this Madness called India.

    This morning after a sumptuous breakfast start your day-long sightseeing of the magnificent city of power, prestige and symbol of peace & tolerance amidst trials and tribulations of day today life. Begin by paying homage at Raj Ghat-memorial of Mahatma Gandhi; Father of the Nation; international icon &symbol of non- violence. Next you step into the old city of Delhi- Shahjahanabad, named after the emperor who built the Taj Mahal. Visit the 400-year-old red sandstone structure-Red Fort built during his reign and also see the largest mosque in the country- Jama Masjid. Enjoy a ride in the famous hand-pulled rickshaw as you slide through the humdrum of Meena Bazaar &enjoy the old world charm spread all around in lanes & by lanes of Chandni Chowk – The Moonlit Square- in the heart of the old city.

    Post lunch; encounter yet another marvel of Mogul architecture and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site- Humayun’s Tomb. Get a guided tour of precursor to Taj Mahal, the most visited monument in the city. Travel back in time by thousand years as you visit the iconic victory tower Qutab Minar, situated in the south of Delhi. View an amalgamation of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural traditions, of 11th century.

    Later in the evening drive past the modern edifice of Lotus Temple-place of worship of Baha’i Sect. Proceed further towards Lutyen’s Delhi to see the Colonial heritage reflected in the iconic, magnificent structures from the British Era of Queen and King Edward. Drive past; India Gate, Parliament House, Presidents House and the diplomatic Area. Enjoy free time to shop at the world-famous Connaught place and enjoy the Evening as you rub shoulders with the young and modern India of the 21st century. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day: 3 Delhi / Varanasi( By Flight ) + Excursion Trip To Sarnath

    Begin your journey into the antiquity of Indian cultural heritage as you leave for Varanasi- the city of Lights. The place credited with salvation at its doorsteps, city that is classic in its character, charm and is a mesh of contradictions and Madness that defines India. Also see the other side of the coin as you visit Sarnath, the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.

    Today morning after breakfast you depart for Delhi Airport to catch your flight for the city of Varanasi.

    Check in to your hotel on arrival and you get time to relax before you depart for a trip to Sarnath.

    Introspect in this town of rich spiritual heritage of Buddhist tradition that established the eightfold Middle path which is quintessential in nature and delves into the meaning and purpose of how to conduct once life. Overnight stay at your hotel.
     
  • Day: 4 Varanasi Tour + Boat Ride + Evening Aarti

    In the evening capture, the most spectacular ancient local tradition of the Arti on the banks of the river (prayer) a thanksgiving ritual in existence for eons in praise of the Mother Ganga considered being the life-giver. See how the sounds, smells and sight will transport you to another world. Back to your hotel for Overnight stay.
     
  • Day: 5 Varanasi / Khajuraho ( By Flight ) + City Tour

    The site is a UNESCO world heritage place of immense and deep significance in the classical history of art and architecture of the world. Often confused with the Kamasutra poses, the temple are a visual delight from the point of pleasure seekers and do not talk about the art of procreation alone.

    Today morning after breakfast you depart for Varanasi Airport to catch your flight for Khajuraho- the temple known world over as apogee of erotic art and Tantric traditions. On arrival pick-up and transfer to your hotel. Free time to relax and freshen up.

    Start your half day sightseeing trip of the Temple Complex at Khajuraho to engage with the pre-medieval monument from the Chandola Dynasty that marked a beginning of many a new tradition in temple construction from the standpoint of description and depiction of creation and creativity in the visual art form.   • Day: 6 Khajuraho / Orchha / Jhansi ( 180 Kms / 3.5 Hrs ) Jhansi / Agra ( By Train )

    Today morning after breakfast you depart for Orchha. After checking into your hotel, begin your sightseeing tour of this quiet and small town situated along a river stream Betwa that has a palace- Orchha Fort, Raja Ram Temple and Meena Bazaar.

    The architecture of the place has earned it a special place in the history of art for the technique employed was an amalgamation of the existing and innovative ways to enhance and enrich the Indian tradition by use of Turquoise color in the tiles laid on the interior and exterior walls.     Today morning after breakfast, you visit the UNESCO world heritage site- Taj Mahal. Travel in style in your horse drawn carriage to this awe inspiring 16th century creation in translucent white marble in Memory of Mumtaz Mahal by Mogul Emperor Shahajahan, which will mesmerize and leave you spellbound. You get a guided tour of the mausoleum to see the work of Pieta Dura – the intricate inlay work, with gems and stone-on the walls of Taj, and time to enjoy the charbagh around this architectural wonder of the world. Next see UNESCO listed, Agra Fort- precursor of Red Fort in Delhi and see the throne and court – Deewan–E–Aam, Deewan–E–Khas – of the most Famous & influential kings of Mogul history. Visit Moti Masjid, the place of worship. Trip to Agra is incomplete without a visit to Itmad-ud Daula, mausoleum carved out of white marble in memory of the father of the Queen Mumtaz. The intricate carvings and geometrical patterns on the marble walls, will take your breath away.

    Next you visit the UNESCO heritage city of Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) built by Emperor Akbar in response to fulfillment of a prophecy by Sufi Saint Salim Chisti, that the king will be blessed with an heir.     Also see Mint, stable, post office and splendors of Persian Court, visible in the artistic and aesthetic marvels of Panch Mahal and Diwan-E-Khas. The City greets you at Buland Darwaza and the place also has a Mosque, which is still in use after 400 years and also houses the Shrine of Salim Shisti, most famous for its mother of pearl canopy.
