Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day: 1 Arrival Kochi

After arriving to the Cochin Airport you will be given a conventional welcome by the company representatives. Our expert staffs will also assist you in clearing the immigration formalities if required. Then you will be escorted to a luxurious hotel where you can take rest after the long journey and wind down. Get some good night sleep to gain energy for the South Indian tour to be conducted on the next day.
Day: 2 Cochin City Tour + Kathakali Dance Show

After having a delicious breakfast in the early morn, you need to get ready to take a peek into some of the wonderful places in the city of Cochin like the Dutch Palace, Cochin Fort, Chinese Fishing Nets, Cochin Beach and Jewish Synagogue. Next you will be left alone with some leisurely moments to have fun doing personal activities. Either you can raid the local markets or explore the nook and corner of the city while mingling with the residents. After enjoying shopping in the local market, you will get a wonderful chance to watch Kathakali dance performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala. Return to the hotel at day end to enjoy the night stay.
Day: 3 Cochin / Munnar ( 120 Kms / 03 Hrs )

After the morning breakfast, you will be escorted to the famous Hill Station of Kerala, namely Munnar. On arrival to this place you will be transferred to the cosy Munnar Hotel. Immediately after checking-in to the hotel our staff will leave you alone with your own privacy. You can enjoy the beautiful nature and relax in the tranquil environment throughout the day and then get back to the hotel for a pleasant night stay.
Day: 4 Munnar Spice & Tea Plantation

After having the breakfast, you will start your day’s program. You will be taken to the Tea and Spice Plantation Gardens of Munnar where you will enjoy half of the day by visiting the tea gardens that shrouds the land like a shining green carpet. Get back to the hotel and have a comfortable sleep.
Day: 5 Munnar / Alleppey ( 90 Kms / 2.5 Hrs )

After enjoying the mouth watering breakfast served in the hotel, you will be guided to the Backwaters, a very popular place in Allepey. After reaching there you will be immediately taken to the jetty from where you will board a deluxe and air-conditioned Houseboat. The rest of the time you will enjoy cruising through the Backwaters being on the luxurious houseboat and will also spend the whole night over there.
Day: 6 Arrive Kumarakom + Bird Sanctuary Visit

On the sixth day morning you will be arriving to Kumarakom which is well-known for its Bird Sanctuary. After arriving this place, our representatives will escort you and take you to a luxurious hotel to get freshened up. During the first half of the day you will be visiting the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary to watch the wide array of species of birds which come every year from several distant countries for the purpose of breeding. Viewing them will be a pleasure for you and you will simply love the experience. During the evening you can spend some leisure time enjoying the exotic nature and have sound sleep in the hotel during the night.
Day: 7 Kumarakom / Periyar ( 185 Kms / 4.5 Hrs ) + City Tour + Boat Ride

After taking delight in your morning breakfast, you will set off for the Periyar National Park- which is the home of Asian Elephants and Tigers. Once you reach Periyar, after a very long drive you will be transferred to your opulent pre-booked hotel to take some rest. Then you will be visiting the National Park in order to explore the natural habitat of elephants and the well known Royal Bengal Tigers. A sudden glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tigers will be a breath-taking experience for you. You will also be taken inside the core jungle through a boat ride in the Periyar Lake where you can explore the wild natural beauty of this place. Return to your hotel for the night stay.
Day: 8 Periyar / Madurai ( 160 Kms / 3.5 Hrs )

In the next morning, while you have munched on your delicious morning platter, you will get some personal moments for enjoying the beauty of Thekkady. During the second half of the day, you will leave by road for Madurai...famous for the Meenakshi Temple. On reaching there you will directly lodge into your hotel. After having some rest visit the local markets to relish the flavor of the lifestyle of the city. Come back and have an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day: 9 Madurai Sightseeing Tour

After having the breakfast you will start the whole day sightseeing tour of Madurai where you will visit Meenakshi Temple, Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam, Tirumalai Nayak, Koodal Azhagar and Pazhamudhirsolai. Enjoy the local market and lifestyle of the city and then return to your hotel to slide into a peaceful sleep.
Day: 10 Madurai / Trichy ( 130 Kms / 2.5 Hrs ) + City Tour

In the morning once after finishing your breakfast, you will be transferred to Trichy, popularly known as Tiruchipally. When you have taken some rest, you will be taken to a city tour of Trichy to visit the Government Museum, Sri Ranganath Ranga Nathan Temple and the Ganpathi Temple. Revert to the hotel for a nice sleep.
Day: 11 Trichy / Tanjore ( 55 Kms / 1.5 Hrs ) + City Tour

After having a tasty breakfast, you will be driven towards Tanjore or Thanjavur. On reaching there after getting some rest you will be starting the sightseeing tour to the city of Tanjore. Famous places that you will visit during the tour include Royal Brahadeeswara Temple, Sangeetha Temple, Chandra Bhagwan temple, the Royal palace and the Nandi Temple. Enjoy a comfortable sleep at night after coming back to the hotel.
Day: 12 Tanjore / Pondicherry ( 225 Kms / 05 Hrs ) + City Tour

Having completed the morning breakfast, you be guided to Pondicherry, known for its blend of French and Indian culture. After having some rest, you will start the sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Some of the places that you will be visiting are Varadraja Temple, Pondicherry Museum, Auroville Gokilambal Thirukameshwarar Temple, Sri Aurobindo Ashram and French Colonial Buildings. Take some rest in the hotel during the night.
Day: 13 Pondicherry / Mahabalipuram ( 165 Kms / 4.5 Hrs ) + City Tour

In the morning, following a delicious breakfast you will be driven to Mahabalipuram also called the Temple City. After reaching there, you will be checked in a hotel to freshen up. Later on, you will be guided to a half-day tour to the city of Mahabalipuram for visiting Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Temple, Cave Temple, Trimurti, Five Rathas and Mandapalms. Enjoy the wonderful beach view and sunset hue in the evening and have a night stay in the hotel.
Day: 14 Mahabalipuram / Kanchipuram / Chennai ( 72 Kms / 1.5 Hrs ) + Chennai Tour

After relishing on a healthy breakfast in the hotel you will be escorted to Chennai, the Capital City of Tamil Nadu. Enroute, you will be visiting Kanchipuram to see the Kanchi Kamakshi Temple, Kamakshi Aman Temple, Kanchi Kudhil, Shri Ekambaranatha Temple, Kailashnath Temple and Devrajaswami Temple. Once you step on Chennai, you will immediately check-into a hotel to get freshened up. Then you can enjoy a sightseeing tour to Chennai for visiting the St. George Church, Govt Museum, important Government buildings and Marina Beach. Spend your evening in the local market buying and mingling with the locals. Get some good sleep in the hotel.
Day: 15 Chennai / Departure
